24 Jan - 4 Mar 2023 Bone of My Bones, Flesh of My Flesh focuses on the binary creation myths of Abrahamic religions. Lilith, a figure from Judaic biblical tradition and Mesopotamian folklore, is Adam’s first wife. 6 Oct - 17 Dec 2022 ‘Your Arms Outstretched Above Your Head, Coding With The Angels’ is comprised of film, painting, and sculpture, centring around a trip; a journey through history and myth, life and the afterlife, the factual and the hallucinated. The work teleports us to the 19th century volcanic island of Alicudi. Standing separated from the coast of Sicily, Alicudi was described in 1835 by French writer Alexander Dumas as, ‘a corner of the earth forgotten by creation and stuck in an era of chaos.’ Read more
