Gathering’s booth at the 2026 edition of CAN Ibiza will center on intuitive entanglements between geometric and organic forms, highlighting a multidisciplinary group of artists from within and beyond the gallery’s programme. Works by Stefan Brüggemann, Iván Estrada, Garth Evans, Soojin Kang, Kristian Kragelund, Natalia González Martín and Wynnie Mynerva will be on display during the 5th anniversary of CAN, extending an intergenerational and visually multifaceted presentation to the balearic art fair.

Garth Evans, whose duo exhibition with Iván Estrada, Resting Matter, continues at Gathering’s Ibiza gallery through 5 July, will feature at the fair with a ceramic sculpture that interrogates the possibilities of material. Gathering recently announced the representation of Evans, whose small-scale work, Knot No. 1, indicates the more intimate and exploratory side to the artist’s practice and reveals the formal and spatial questions that are at the root of his monumental sculptures.

The booth will include works from Stefan Brüggemann, who experiments with his canvas: taking spray paint, vinyl and gold leaf, his works fragment language drawn from media headlines to compose a continuous, acerbic poem. Repetition and variation mimic the mechanics of digital feeds, resulting in a destabilised refraction of messaging that replaces language with defamiliarisation. Brüggemann’s solo exhibition at Museum MACE, titled Cel d’Or, will be on view in Ibiza during the art fair.
